Refresh Your Customer Experience with Infotainment Stations

As both the retail and hospitality sectors turn their focus to physical experience, businesses are looking for ways to keep their customers entertained for as long as possible.

Increasingly, we are seeing lounge bars and entertainment stations popping up, allowing customers to watch videos, browse product catalogues and play games. McDonald’s transformed its brand reputation by installing tablet infotainment kiosks in thousands of its branches. Keeping children entertained whilst they wait for food, the QSR (quick service restaurant) is now a popular family destination which encourages people to sit down and enjoy their meal – more than ever before.

Tommy Hilfiger also implemented this strategy in its flagship store in Germany. “Bringing the digital brand into the store environment creates more touchpoints for the customer, increases dwell time, and makes for more engaged shoppers,” the IT director of their parent company PVH explained.
